After one year of program implementation through the Albertsons’ Company Foundation’s Nourishing Neighbors program, CCDC has been able to provide critical food assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic and has helped feed families impacted with cancer in our community. The major aim of this project is to help meet basic food needs and alleviate food insecurity predominantly among low income, underserved Hispanic/Latino men and women and their families in El Paso, County. This project proposes to serve 225 families.
Outcome: A total of 100 families in need have received food assistance in the form of $100 Albertsons’ gift cards.
