Since 2019 to present, the CCDC has received a sub-award from the UTEP Border Biomedical Research Center (BBRC) to provide technical support and capacity building through the development of comprehensive cancer training modules for CHW's and assist in the coordination and conduction of focus groups in a study on Border Biomedical Research funded by NIH - National Institute on Minority Health and Human Development.
The BBRC is funded by RCMI/NIMHD (2019-2024) under Grant U54MD007592-28 from the National Institutes on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
